Blue lost again tonight.  Ugly, ugly, UGLY.

Blue’s captain and this trusty blog writer played defense (or more accurately I should say I filled in for an injured defenceman) and that made for some interesting defensive zone moments for us.   I’ve played D about six times since I was eight years old so it’s always a bit wild for my teammates in such a soiree.   But I get it now, no stick handling in our end.  I’ll remember next time.

Anyhow, this drops us to 2-2 so we’re .500.   For the blue team down the road, that’s considered a successful season so let’s keep this in perspective.
